Why do we have a skin routine?
Skin care is not just about having clean skin that is free of pimples and blackheads. But rather to strengthen health, because the skin is the largest human organ. Therefore, it is neither a waste of time nor a waste of money if you do something beneficial for your own body. The results of an efficient skin care routine may also motivate you to eat healthier and exercise, which is also favorable for your body.
Importance of a skin routine
1. If you follow a routine that is adapted to you, your skin ages slowly and stays in excellent condition when you are older. Skin cells are constantly renewed because you lose a lot of skin cells throughout the day. Thus, having a proper routine is very helpful in protecting the skin from skin blemishes.
2. As already mentioned in the first point, the skin ages slowly if one leads a good routine. Further advantages would be that you get fewer wrinkles as you get older and your skin looks more radiant and younger. In particular, a good skin care routine is recommended for people in their 20s-30s, because this is where the skin begins to look dull. However, it is never too late nor it is never too early to start an appropriate skin care routine, it only benefits you when you have found your perfect routine.
3. Many people can empathize when the skin looks “bad”, self-confidence drops and doubts arise. A good routine can boost your confidence and you can feel more comfortable. Nevertheless, it should be noted that impurities are completely normal and, especially in puberty, many young people develop skin blemishes. This can be treated through a skin care routine or, more precisely, the skin can be improved by it.
What is part of a skin care routine?
A skin care routine includes the regular use of a cleanser, a toner, a moisturizer, a sunscreen, peelings and of a serum. It should be noted that everyone has a different skin type. For example, some have drier skin and someone else has oily skin. That’s perfectly okay. Just keep in mind: What might work for you, might not work for someone else.
